Jordan Hill
Jordan Hill began his career recruiting for Quantitative Research and Trading at Selby Jennings, a part of Phaidon International in the fall of 2017. His breakout year was in 2020 when he set the all time single year billing record, recorded the largest deal in the companies 16+ year history, and was named Global Top Biller 2020 out of his 1000+ colleagues. His previous accomplishments, in addition to his 2020 performance, resulted in him being the youngest and fastest person ever promoted to Senior Vice President in Phaidon history. Jordan would then parlay this success by joining Citadel, GQS as an Internal Recruiter. During Jordan’s time at Citadel he gained unparalleled knowledge on the inner workings within one of the world’s leading fully systematic investment groups, something rarely possessed by third party recruiters. This combined experience positions Jordan in a unique position that has proven incredibly beneficial for the candidates that he represents.

Jay Bevacqua
Jay Bevacqua joined Selby Jennings, and their parent company, Phaidon International in 2017. He is a well-versed tech recruiter specializing in software development, machine learning, data engineering, and database infrastructure. Jay has delivered as a preferred talent strategist for a myriad of firms including FinTech startups, Quant Trading pioneers, and Wall Street blue-chips. In the year of 2020, he was recognized internally for having the Most Placements with Phaidon’s Top Ten clients across North America. Jay then built the Selby Jennings Data & AI Search team from scratch and has been featured in Business Insider discussing the latest trends in the space. Jay was also elected as the Vice Chairman of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) for Phaidon International. This focused on fostering a strong sense of well-being through organized speaking events, mental health awareness, and a fully recognized ED&I Calendar. Jay is a progressive search partner with a decorated background growing highly effective and inclusive teams.

Ashton Morlote
Ashton Morlote joined Selby Jennings, and their parent company, Phaidon International in 2019. His focus was serving as an advisor to world leading hedge funds and fintech startups, with a specialization in technology across. By 2021, Ashton began building an elite search team with a primary focus on the cryptocurrency and blockchain technology space. This team went on to be one of the highest performing groups within Phaidon to include achieving the quickest Principal promotion and largest “first deal” in company history. With this, he has extensive experience advising growth for elite technology teams and growing successful internal search teams himself. This experience affords him the ability to quickly understand the underlying challenges an organization faces and identify top talent to ensure success.

Nicolas Misthos
Nicolas joined Selby Jennings, and their parents company, Phaidon International in 2019. He started in their newest office at the time, Dallas, where he was part of the initial build out of their Financial Technology team. Nicolas led the team in billing and won a Client Delivery award for his work with world class banks, hedge funds, and FinTech startups. In 2021, he transferred to Phaidon’s NY office where he continued working with major financial institutions focusing on software engineering, quantitative development, and AI/ML positions. With extensive recruiting experience in various geographic markets in the US, Nicolas has unique insight into various recruiting landscapes benefitting clients and candidates alike.
